About

Capture the Flag (CTF) is a computer security competition. The contests serve as an educational exercise to give participants experience in securing a machine, and/or conducting attacks found in the real world. CTF is now a trending way for security industry to recruit talented students and train them to become security professionals who can combat real-world challenges.

PolyU CTF Team is jointly organized by Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (formerly EIE) and Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The team is the official channel for PolyU students to receive training and participate in local, regional, and international CTF contests. We are currently operating under the name “NuttyShell”.

PolyU CTF Team regularly holds qualification contests to recruit new team members.
